Terms of Service

Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and Community Standards (together, the "User Agreement").

1. Who can use our Services

Our Services means all aspects of the PepRec mobile applications, our website, and the software and systems powering the applications and website.

To use our Services, you must be at least 13 years old. Depending on where you are located, if you are under the age of consent in your country, a parent or guardian may also need to provide consent.

You may also create an account on behalf of another person, company, organization, government, or other legal entity only if you have legal authority to do so.

All references to "you" and "your" in the User Agreement mean both you as the end user and, where relevant, the legal entity on whose behalf an account is created and operated.

2. Data Protection and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what information you share with us, when it is shared, and how we handle it when you use our Services.

By using our Services, you understand and consent that we may collect, use, store, process, share, and transfer this information to countries where we operate and to partners who help us provide our Services.

3. Content

Content means profile photos, photos, videos, emojis, comments, messages, and audio shared through our Services.

You are responsible for the Content you share, including ensuring you have the right to use that Content and that it complies with laws, regulations, and the User Agreement.

If you share Content that you do not have rights to use, or that violates laws, regulations, or the User Agreement, we may remove it.

We do not tolerate harassment, intimidation, defamation, threats, hateful content, child sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, promotion of suicide or self-harm, intellectual property theft, or other illegal activities. For details, see our Community Standards.

You own the Content you share and grant PepRec a license to use it under the conditions below.

Friends Only Content means Content shared only with your friends on PepRec. On a voluntary basis, some people may choose to share that content with PepRec for communication, commercial, and marketing purposes (for example billboards, App Store, or Google Play listings).

Globally Shared Content means Content shared with everyone on PepRec. In exchange for using our Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such Content across any media or distribution method.

This license includes the right for PepRec to provide, promote, and improve our Services and to make Globally Shared Content available to other companies, organizations, or individuals for syndication, distribution, promotion, or publication on other media and services, without additional compensation.

You are not allowed to advertise any services or products on PepRec, including displaying other brands or websites for commercial or similar benefit for yourself or others.

4. Reporting Violative Content

We are not obligated to monitor all Content shared through our Services. However, we want our Services to be safe for everyone.

Content that violates another person’s rights, or does not comply with laws, regulations, or the User Agreement ("Violative Content"), is prohibited. If you see Violative Content, you can report it to us.

5. Ending our Services

We may temporarily or permanently suspend your account and prevent use of our Services if we determine that you shared Violative Content or used the Services in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable laws, regulations, or the User Agreement.

To protect you, other users, and our Services, we may temporarily suspend your account if we detect abnormal activity that presents technical or security risks.

We may delete your account if it is inactive for more than 2 years.

You can choose to delete your account at any time.

6. License to use our Services

Our Services are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws around the world. Nothing in the User Agreement gives you rights to use the PepRec name, trademarks, logos, domain names, or other proprietary rights except as expressly permitted.

During the time you use our Services, PepRec gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive license to use the software provided as part of our Services, solely to use and enjoy the Services in a manner consistent with the User Agreement.

This license ends when you stop using our Services.

PepRec is free to use feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide regarding our Services, including video feedback.

7. Limitation of Liability

By using our Services, you agree that PepRec, its affiliates, related companies, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, partners, and licensors have liability limited to the maximum extent permitted by law in your country of residence.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

To the extent these Terms allow you or PepRec to initiate litigation in court, both you and PepRec consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia and to Latvian law.

You and PepRec agree that all claims and disputes (whether contractual or otherwise) arising out of or relating to the Terms or User Agreement will be litigated exclusively in Latvian courts and governed by Latvian law, unless prohibited by the laws of your country of residence.

9. General

PepRec may update the User Agreement at any time. If you continue using our Services, you agree to the updated User Agreement. If you do not agree, you must stop using our Services.

The User Agreement is between you and PEP REC Ltd., with a registered office located in Riga, Latvia, registered under number 40203567793 with the Latvia Companies Registry.
